Interview with Josie by Kerrie Pacholli

Josie Wadelton is an Italian-born Melbourne based artist whose studio-based practice focuses on painting, collage, installation art and new media. She was a long-time resident artist of 106 Art in St Kilda and has been involved in many group shows. She has had several solo exhibitions in Melbourne.

A  major  focus  in  Josie's  practice  is  to  express  the  inward significance  of  an  art  work.  What  is  represented  on  the  physical level  has  a  cryptic  hidden  meaning;  hence  her  interest  In  language,  numbers, colour  and  codes.
